It is certainly going to feel more like fall around here this weekend. High pressure building into the region will keep us dry through the weekend but also a bit cooler compared to just a few days ago.
Skies become mostly sunny this afternoon. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 60s. There will be a bit of a breeze out of the north with winds between 5-12 mph. With clear skies and lighter winds tonight temperatures will drop off quickly after sunset with overnight lows falling into the mid to upper 30s.
A Frost Advisory will go into effect at 2 am Sunday morning and continue until 8 am Sunday for all of Franklin county as well as northern Berkshire county. If you have sensitive vegetation you will probably want to cover it tonight.
High pressure builds overhead Sunday, giving us a calmer day, but a cooler one with highs in the low 60s. Sunday night we may see some deeper valleys fall into the lower and middle 30s with the chance for frost.
Next week we begin cool and dry, but a cold front moves in Tuesday with likely rain showers. An upper level low moving to our north will allow for some lingering clouds and continued mild temperatures through mid week.
