We are dry overnight with skies becoming cloudy. A northeast breeze lingers through Friday morning and temperatures return to the upper 40s in the Berkshires to low 50s elsewhere. Low pressure will be moving toward southern New England throughout the day, so the chance for a shower will be increasing.
Occasional showers become more likely through Friday evening and Saturday as this low and front continue to move to the northeast. We will have more clouds around both days along with a continued northeast breeze and below normal temperatures with highs in the low 60s for most and a few upper 50s in the higher elevations.
The slow departure of the upper level low may keep a few showers around Sunday and Monday, but while you will need the umbrella-you likely won’t need it all day. High pressure will build back in with drier, sunnier weather through midweek. Our forecast becomes very uncertain late in the week as we are tracking Hurricane Matthew and an approaching cold front from the west. Stay tuned for updates.
