Not a great day for a bike ride but that didn't stop enthusiasts from heading to a bike drive in Holyoke this afternoon.

The Holyoke urban bike school invited bikers of all ages to get rid of any old bikes, frames or parts that the school's youth bike organization could then refurbish and bring back to life.

"We use donations in our program without earn a bike class. It's where students come to classes that are shop and they know some bike repair skills and they get to keep the bike that they've been working on," said Colby Singleton of Holyoke Urban Bike School

The Holyoke Urban Bike School is located at the greater Holyoke YMCA. Their mission is to provide bikes to city youth to inspire a lifelong appreciation.
