A little fog and a lot of clouds will be around Tuesday morning as you start your day. We remain cloudy and mild with daytime highs in the mid 60s accompanied by-yet again-a northeast breeze.
However, our weather will drastically improve midweek as high pressure moves into New England, bringing more clear sky. In the upper levels of the atmosphere, our low moves away and a ridge of high pressure over the East will allow for warmer temps. Expect sunshine and 70s during the day and clear skies and 40s at night through Friday-great for foliage!
As we move toward the weekend, all eyes are on Hurricane Matthew. At this point, what looks likely is for Matthew to move from the Caribbean to the Southeast coast-either making landfall or coming very close. By Friday and Saturday, the storm looks to either move up the coast toward New England or drift farther east, just missing us. There’s also question on how strong the storm will be at that point. So for now, plan for possibilities and not a certain impact. We will keep you posted!
