High, thin clouds are increasing overnight and should help to steady temperatures. However, we are already cold and most will stay close to 40 through the early morning. A decrease in clouds is possible before dawn, which may allow for temps to fall into the mid and upper 30s for some-leading to some patchy, light frost.
Skies stay mostly sunny again Wednesday with comfortable afternoon temperatures returning to the mid and upper 60s. Clouds roll back in Wednesday night and linger much of Thursday along with some patchy fog and possibly a little drizzle for Thursday morning. A cold front moves in Thursday afternoon with a chance for showers through dinner time. Not much rain is expected for western Mass.
High pressure builds in Friday, bringing some gusty northwest winds and cooler temps with highs around 60. Winds lighten enough to allow temps to near freezing Friday night, then we are sunny and cool over the weekend with highs in the lower to mid 60s. Our next cold front arrives early next week with another rain chance.
