More clouds, fog and a few showers Thursday

Posted: Updated:

Clouds will be on the increase overnight and low clouds & fog are likely to develop closer to morning. Some patchy drizzle is possible as well, so grab a jacket and umbrella when heading out. Temps drop into the mid and upper 40s for most and begin rising through the morning.

A few breaks of sun may occur early Thursday afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front. Any sunshine would help to push temps near 70. It will feel mild and a bit muggy Thursday, then scattered showers become possible mid-afternoon through the evening.

Behind the cold front Thursday night, winds will shift out of the north-northwest and get gusty through Friday. Drier, cooler air sets in and with the breeze, it will feel a bit chilly to end the week. Winds lighten Friday evening and temps drop back into the upper 20s by Saturday morning.

A cool, dry weekend is on tap with high pressure bringing sunny skies. We are a bit milder Sunday with highs back to the mid 60s. For early next week, we look warmer and unsettled with some spotty showers possible from a few systems.
