It's a cold and very frosty start this morning with temperatures running in the mid 20s through the lower 30s. High pressure remains overhead, so expect a sunny, quiet day with highs in the low 60s-perfect for fall activities!
Under mostly clear skies tonight temperatures will drop back into the lower and middle 30s with some patchy fog possible. High pressure will shift offshore which means a warmer flow of air for us. Mostly sunny skies on the way for Sunday with breezy but mild conditions as highs top out in the mid to upper 60s.
Sunday's warm up is the beginning of a warmer weather pattern that will last through mid-week. A cold front to our north brings a chance for showers Sunday night with lows in the lower 50s. Some sunshine will mix with clouds on Monday but we will warm into the lower 70s Monday afternoon.
Some record high temps may be challenged Tuesday and Wednesday with an upper level ridge in place along with continued southwesterly wind flow. Many will get to upper 70s and even near 80 if we can get enough sun. Another cold front moves through late Wednesday and stalls to our southeast, then low pressure looks to move toward New England with a good rain potential to end the week. We also look to turn cooler with this system.
