t did not feel much like fall this afternoon as temperatures in some areas made it into the lower 70s. Our warming trend will continue into the middle of the week with the chance for record warmth on Tuesday.
Clouds will increase tonight as a cold front approaches from the west with lows dropping back into the lower and middle 50s. There is the chance for a few scattered light showers tonight. Sunshine will mix with a clouds on Monday but it will be another warm day with highs topping out in the low to middle 70s.
Some record high temps may be challenged Tuesday and Wednesday with an upper level ridge in place along with continued southwesterly wind flow. Many will get to upper 70s and possibly even into the lower 80s if we can get enough sun. Another cold front moves through late Wednesday and stalls to our southeast, then low pressure looks to move toward New England with a chance for additional rain to close out the week. We also look to turn cooler with this system. We will try to dry out by late next weekend.
