The strong, gusty winds we have been dealing with this afternoon will relax a bit tonight though it will still remain breezy. A clipper system passing to the south of New England could bring a few showers late tonight into early tomorrow morning before dry but breezy conditions return for the start of the new work week.
Skies will start out clear this evening before clouds begin to increase later tonight. While the gusty winds will relax it will still be a breezy night at times. A clipper system will pass to the south of the region tonight and that will bring increasing clouds and the chance for a few showers mainly south of the mass pike. Lows fall back into the upper 30s and lower 40s. The breezy conditions will linger into Monday and Tuesday with daytime highs in the lower to middle 50s on Monday and in the mid to upper 40s on Tuesday.
Wednesday will feature sunny skies but it will be the coolest day of the week with highs only in the lower to middle 40s. At least by Wednesday it looks like the breezy conditions will have finally subsided. Another system could bring the chance for showers late Thursday into Friday.
