It's shaping up to be a weekend where we see more clouds than sun but at least temperatures get back toward seasonable levels.
High pressure is in control as we kick off the weekend, keeping our weather dry and crisp. However, this high will move east today and our winds shift out of the southwest-bringing in milder air. Skies will become mostly cloudy this afternoon with temperatures this afternoon getting back closer to normal with highs in the mid and upper 50s.
A cold front will sag southward later today, but most of the showers along the front remain to our north. Clouds should increase through the afternoon though and a stray shower can't be ruled out. By Sunday, the front will slowly move to the CT coast, bringing scattered showers late in the day. We stay mild with highs around 60.
High pressure will bring a breeze, clearing skies and cooler temperatures Sunday night into Monday, then a sunny sky and cool afternoon and evening for Trick or Treating. It will get colder Monday night with high pressure overhead and Tuesday should begin frosty. Again, high pressure moves east and we warm up. Temperatures look to get well into the 60s Wednesday with some sunshine and a southwest breeze, then wet weather returns for the end of the week.
