SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

Even though the clouds dominated this afternoon it was a dry but mild start to the day. Showers will work into the region this afternoon into this evening. Showers come to an end later tonight and sunshine will return for the start of the work week but it will be a bit cooler.

Showers will begin to move into the region and continue into this evening. Any showers will come to an end later tonight and some slow clearing will begin to take place after midnight. It will be a cooler night tonight compared to last night as low temperatures drop back into the lower to middle 30s. It will be a chilly start as you get out the door tomorrow morning.

High pressure will bring a breeze, clearing skies and cooler temperatures tonight into Monday, then a sunny sky and cool afternoon and evening for Trick or Treating. Highs tomorrow will top out in the upper 40s to around 50. It will get colder Monday night with high pressure overhead and Tuesday should begin frosty. Temperatures for the trick or treaters tomorrow night will quickly drop into the lower 40s with overnight lows Monday night dropping back into the lower and middle 20s. Highs on Tuesday top out in the lower 50s under mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures look to get well into the 60s Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday will feature partly sunny skies while showers move in on Thursday. Drier but cooler air moves in for the end of the week into next weekend.
