Cold and frosty for most across the valley tonight! Temperatures will steady out and slowly rise overnight as clouds move in and dew points rise ahead of a cold front. By 8am Thursday, temperatures will be back into the low 40s with light scattered showers, so grab the umbrella! Spotty showers are possible through the early afternoon, then we will see skies begin to clear by the evening. Daytime highs return to the lower to mid 50s with a north-northwest breeze.
A passing cold front will bring light showers Wednesday with most of us only seeing a trace to a tenth of an inch. Skies will begin to clear Wednesday evening and we’ve got more sunshine for Thursday as high pressure builds back in. Temperatures are back to seasonable with highs in the low to mid 50s Thursday and Veterans Day. On Friday, a strong cold front will be moving in from the northwest with increasing clouds, but not much rain-maybe a shower in the Berkshires. Expect increasing winds and falling temperatures Friday night into Saturday!
Gusty northwest winds will usher in frigid air Friday night with temps falling into the 20s. Saturday we will only get into the low 40s in the valley and 30s in the hills with wind chills in the 20s and 30s. Wind gusts to 30-35mph are possible. High pressure builds in Sunday, bringing more sunshine, a lighter breeze and milder temps back to the 50s. We are looking dry and milder early next week with highs in the mid and upper 50s through Tuesday.
