Temperatures have gotten very cold tonight! Expect temps in the low to mid 20s through morning. An approaching warm front will bring in more clouds overnight and a slight chance for flurries or patchy freezing drizzle. Any wet weather will be brief and before the sun comes up. We are looking mainly dry and cloudy Thanksgiving morning and we stay dry into the early afternoon.
A steadier, light rain is looking likely by the afternoon Thursday that will last into the first half of the night. Areas of fog and drizzle are possible early Friday morning with temperatures only slightly above freezing. In the hills, patchy freezing drizzle may bring a light glaze of ice. Either way, be prepared for possible slick or icy spots on the roads before sunup Friday morning-everywhere.
Another area of low pressure and an upper level disturbance will bring rain chances again Friday night through Saturday, so keep the umbrella handy. An upper low slowly moves northeast through Sunday, keeping us cloudy and unsettled. We start to see more sunshine Sunday and early next week. Temps will be on the rise early next week as a potent low moves into the upper Midwest. Ahead of a strong cold front, we could see 60s by Wednesday, followed by a potential decent, heavy rain.
