It was rumble night at the Boys and Girls club in Holyoke.
Boxers strapped on their gloves and jumped in the ring for the 5th annual Nick Cosmos Memorial Boxing Show.
Nick Cosmos was the director of the Holyoke boys club back in 1957 and brought boxing to the city.
Boxers today were nationally ranked and local boxers across New England.
Boxing has become a resource for the community of Holyoke.
"To get these kids off the street, get them in the gym and this show here really gives you the opportunity to showcase those talents," said Dean Faye, the president of Central City Boxing.
And help them stay out of trouble.
"It keeps me out of trouble because I'm always at the gym and I'm never out doing anything in the streets or anything like that," said boxer and participant Denzel Whitley.
The proceeds from the show will allow after school programming for the Boys and Girls Club.
