(MEREDITH) – Like all good stories, this one starts with a hero: a woman who just wanted pineapple on her pizza.
And like all good stories, there must be a villain. Although this time, that role is a bit more confusing. Let’s start at the beginning.
Ali wanted a pineapple pizza, so she ordered one from her local pizza restaurant. When the pizza arrived, she opened the top and discovered a pineapple-less pizza. But this pizza came topped with a five-dollar bill and a note; a note that would spark a heated debate across Twitter.
“Couldn’t bring myself to put pineapple on it. That’s gross. Sorry,” the pizza delivery person allegedly wrote.

Ali claims she found the note taped to the inside of her pizza box. That, and absolutely no pineapple.
However, some users on the Internet claimed Ali made it up simply for the retweets, but a friend of hers quickly came to her defense.
Look she's funny but not this funny to make it up. I witnessed this happen :) https://t.co/F4TqE0oVX8— dan ?? (@Freakin_Dani) March 5, 2017
Whether you believe Ali is the hero or villain in this story, the damage has been done. The tweets have already rolled in, and the debate to include pineapple as an official topping of pizza is still raging.
