Springfield Police looking for alleged wallet thief

Springfield Police are looking for your help in identifying a woman who is accused of stealing a wallet.

Springfield Police spokesperson Ryan Walsh said that the wallet was left behind at Wheeler's Convenience on State Street for a brief time on April 1.

The wallet was stolen, then returned to the owner the next day, but the money inside was missing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Springfield Police at (413) 787-6355 or 'Text-A-Tip' to CRIMES (274637) and in the message, type SOLVE and your tip
