CHICOPEE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

Chicopee police are asking for the public's help to identify five suspects involved in a larceny scheme using a stolen credit card from Northampton.

Officer Mike Wilk told Western Mass News the suspects used the stolen credit card 12 times to total $3,100 in merchandise at the Chicopee Walmart.

Wilk said the suspects also used the stolen card three times at the Chicopee Gamestop totaling $600, and at Chicopee Electric Light for a $200 charge.

According to Wilk, the card was reported stolen in April, and all of the fraudulent transactions have occurred in the past week.

Wilk noted the victim is now out over $5,000 because of the incident.

Anyone who has information is asked to contact Chicopee police at 413-594-1740.
