SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

We continued our series on Friday with our four legged friends in mind.

Subscription boxes are the latest trend, even for pups!

We've been unboxing them all week and Jordyn's dog, Cotton, got in on the fun opening up one of her very own.

If you love treating your dog like Jordyn does, there's a box for that!

Barkbox is a monthly subscription catered to your canine and Western Mass News is putting it to the test.

With the help of Jordyn's dog, Cotton, we'll see if this package is worth the monthly price of $29.

Getting your paws on it is easy enough with a simple click on barkbox.com.

Ordering the box took less than five minutes.  it even asks for your pups size

Better yet, it came within just one day.

Plans start at $21 per month and each box is themed, so Cotton is exploring New York City.

With two bags of treats, a buffalo chew and two unique toys cotton took her first peek at the park.

Distracted by the excitement of the outdoors, Cotton chose to sniff around instead, but when she got bored, she dove head first into her Barkbox.

Our usually picky furry friend immediately went for the buffalo chew.  Jordyn couldn't even touch it!

The all-natural treats were a hit too.  Wheat, corn, and soy free for pups with a special diet will love these.

They're also low-fat and low-calorie, so owners can feel guilt-free when dishing these out.

Cotton goes crazy for anything that squeaks, so the dumplings were a hit - at home and even in the park.

Cotton gave the Lady Liberty ball a try.  It was a little big for her mouth and we had indicated her size, but that didn't stop her from playing - at least for a little.

Paws down - Cotton's favorite was the buffalo chew, but there was nothing in this box she turned down.

In a statement to Western Mass News, Barkbox said, "From the products to the packaging to the pictures on social, we design every piece of each month's box to create insane joy for dogs."

That was the case for Cotton, but if your dog decides this box isn't something to bark about, canceling the subscription can be done by simply canceling it on the website.

If dog parents are interested in trying a couple products before committing to a subscription, Bark original toys  can be purchased on barkshop.com or at Target stores nationwide.
