Over a dozen people have been arrested after two investigations by Springfield Police.
Springfield Police spokesperson Ryan Walsh said that Thursday afternoon, members of the department's Strategic Impact Unit made several arrests and seized drugs from locations in the city where investigators received information from residents.
Over the span of approximately three hours, investigators made 15 arrests and seized 18 rocks of crack cocaine, 74 bags of heroin, and more than $9,800 in cash.
Police arrested the following suspects:
Approximately 12:10 p.m. Thursday on Byers Street:
Approximately 12:30 p.m. Thursday on Chestnut Street:
Approximately 1 p.m. Thursday on Bay Street:
Approximately 1:40 p.m. Thursday on Temple Street, near School Street:
Approximately 4 p.m. Thursday in the area of lower Ft. Pleasant Avenue:
The department's Street Crimes Unit and Forest Park C3 unit assisted in the investigations.
