Second suspect in deadly Orange home invasion found guilty

GREENFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

The woman accused of killing an elderly couple in Orange has been found guilty on two counts of murder.

Mary Carey, spokesperson for the Northwestern District Attorney's office, told Western Mass News that a jury convicted Brittany Smith in the deaths of Thomas Harty and Joanna Fisher.

Smith faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Joshua Hart has already been found guilty in Harty and Fisher's deaths.

Both Smith and Hart will be sentenced this Thursday at 2 p.m.
