The countdown to Mother’s Day is on and many last-minute shoppers are scrambling to pick up the perfect gift for mom.
The malls were certainly packed today with shoppers.
"Mothers are the rock of life," says shopper Aric Nunes.
Many folks are on the hunt for the perfect gift to celebrate mom.
Finding that right present is tough, especially when so many waited until the last minute.
"[It's] super packed," Westfield resident Julie Novak told us. "We only did really quick things."
When navigating the mall, sometimes it's best to do things in pairs.
"We’re absolutely pumped for tomorrow," continued Nunes. "And we’re shopping for my mom and her mom."
The National Retail Federation says that 86% of Americans will celebrate Mother’s Day and shell out an average of $180 dollars per person.
While many people will buy a tangible gift, about 24% are going to purchase an S.P.A. experience.
No matter what you give mom, the important thing is to celebrate all the wonderful mothers in your life.
So if you have not done your shopping, there's no need to stress, there is still a little bit of time before the big day!
