Good Sunday morning and a Happy Mother's Day! While it's a cloudy start this morning it looks like we will see some sunshine by the afternoon. It's looking like a dry day so if you do have outdoor plans with mom you should be fine though the afternoon looks brighter.
A front to our south will push a bit farther south today, allowing for some clearing by the afternoon. With partly sunny skies daytime highs will top out in the lower to middle 60s, which is certainly warmer compared to yesterday, but still a bit below average. At least it does look dry which means any outdoor plans you may have with mom look like a go.
Clouds will begin to build back in tonight but it should remain dry. It will be another cool night as lows drop back into the lower to middle 40s. We start out with clouds again tomorrow morning but we once again should manage some sunshine as we head into the afternoon. Temperatures will rise into the lower 70s Monday afternoon, a couple of degrees above average.
The warmest day of the week looks like it will be on Tuesday as highs rise into the upper 70s and lower 80s. It will also feel a touch more humid and there is the chance for some scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm Tuesday afternoon and evening.
The second half of the week looks unsettled with a stalled front to our north and south and waves of low pressure riding along them. This will bring in waves of showers and keep clouds around through Friday.
