ATHOL, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

An arrest has been made in relation to a crash earlier this week that killed an Athol man.

Mary Carey, spokesperson for the Northwestern District Attorney's office, said that 28-year-old Jay Pressley of Orange was arrested Thursday on manslaughter and other charges in relation to that crash Sunday in Athol.

Police responded to a single-vehicle crash around 8 p.m. Sunday in the area of 1060 South Athol Road.

Eric Gage, 26, of Athol was killed in the crash.  Two other people were injured and transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center for treatment.

Arraignment for Pressley is scheduled for Friday in Orange District Court.

The incident remains under investigation.
