It's been a Summer-like day with temperatures hitting the upper 80s - a solid 15° above the average for today. High pressure is to the south, and the southwesterly flow is helping to boost temperatures and humidity values. A nice breeze has kept the warm temperatures comfortable.
We stay rather mild tonight with lows only slipping to the upper 50s. With a ton of early sunshine, temperatures heat back up again tomorrow to near 90. Humidity will be on the rise though, so it will feel hotter. A cold front will move south into our area by the late afternoon with a few showers and even a thunderstorm.
Behind the front, the wind will shift back to the northeast, which will usher in much cooler air for Sunday. Expect a dramatic change - 30° to 40° cooler than Saturday!
High pressure building to our northeast Sunday will keep the day much cooler with highs in the 50s and 60s. There will be a stalled front to our south that will keep clouds around and may bring some showers our way, especially in the morning.
We will likely see some improvement on Memorial Day. It is looking mainly dry and a bit milder with some sun with temperatures in the low to mid 70s. Warmer temps build back in next with several days hitting the 80s.
