HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

Police need your help in identifying two suspects involved in a sunglasses scam.

Holyoke Police tell Western Mass News the suspects have been to Sunglass Hut on three different occasions.

Their strategy is that one distracts the employee while the other swaps out the sunglasses for the ones they're already wearing.

During one incident, the store employee confronted one of the suspects and was able to recover one pair of frames.

The vehicle they were driving was a black Chevy mini-van, possibly an Equinox.

The man pictured in the photo has a heavy accent that may or may not be Caribbean.

Overall. the suspects have managed to steal over $1,500 in stolen shades.

If you recognize either of these two, you are urged to contact Holyoke Police at 413-322-6940.
