A man from Hampden was killed in a head-on crash on Main and Branch Road in Wilbraham late last night and a woman was seriously injured.
Sgt. Baldwin with the Wilbraham Police Department tells Western Mass News they responded to the scene just after 11:30 p.m. Friday. This was for a two vehicle crash. The vehicle the Hampden man was driving, a Subaru, collided head-on with another vehicle, an Audi, driven by a woman who is also from Hampden.

"The female is reported to be in critical but stable condition," Sgt. Baldwin told Western Mass News.
So far no charges have been filed in connection to this crash which occurred in the area of 934 Main Street.
Police confirm there were no other passengers besides the drivers, in either vehicle.
Both drivers were transported to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. The man, who has not yet been identified by police, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The Wilbraham Fire Department did respond to the scene as well.
We're told the Hampden District Attorney's Office was called in and they are assisting the Wilbraham Police Department with this investigation along with Massachusetts State Police.
