The Marshall Tucker Band set to perform at the Big E

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -

Marshall Tucker Band fans, mark your calendars!

The Big E announced Tuesday the iconic southern rock band will hit the stage at the Xfinity arena on September 14, the first day of the Big E.

Founding member and lead singer Doug Gray will carry out their timeless singles like, "Can't You See", "Take The Highway,"  and "Heard It In a Love Song." 

The concert will kick-off at 7:30 p.m. and is free with fair admission. A limited number of reserved seats will go on sale Thursday, June 7 at 10 a.m.

The Big E will run on September 14 through September 30.
