A beautiful day across western Mass under a mostly sunny sky and with seasonable temperatures. We’ve got another cool, comfortable night ahead as high pressure continues to dominate. Temps should return to the lower 50s for most!
We end the week on a nice note with good sunshine and some scattered afternoon clouds. High pressure will be moving off to our northeast, but we still see a seasonable day with highs in the lower to middle 80s. In the upper levels, a trough is moving out and a ridge starts building in-which will bring a warm-up to the Northeast.
Our weekend is looking mostly dry, but not completely. A few spotty showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday night and maybe an isolated, pop-up on Sunday. Overall we will see warmer temperatures and increasing humidity-which really kicks in Sunday and early next week. Temperatures should take a run at 90 on Sunday as less cloud cover is expected.
A ridge will bring some heat for Monday with highs hitting lower to middle 90s in the valley with dew points in the 60s. Scattered clouds will increase going into Tuesday ahead of an approaching cold front. We are warm and quite humid Tuesday with an increasing threat of showers and thunderstorms by the evening. Some severe weather is looking possible. Showers early Wednesday will come to an end and the second half of the week is looking warm and dry.
