Central High girls’ basketball defeats Hingham in quarterfinals

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - In the opening game Tuesday night, the Central High School girls squared off with Hingham in their Division One State Quarterfinal game.

Central entered the night as the number three-ranked team in the state.

The Golden Eagles got the job done, beating 14th-ranked Hingham 58-47, also advancing to the state semi-finals.
