Springfield crews respond to trash fire on High Street
Crews are responding to a porch fire on High Street in Springfield.

SPRINGFIELD, MA. (WGGB/WSHM) - Crews in Springfield responded to High Street Saturday afternoon for reports of a trash fire.
According to Springfield Fire Captain Drew Piemonte, the Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad determined that there had been a trash fire in the rear of the building that had extended to the first floor rear porch.
Officials said that the source of the ignition is under investigation.
