Beth Ward - Headshot 101018

Beth Ward is thrilled to be back reporting on the stories that matter to you and your community as a member of the Western Mass News team.

She began her television career in Hartford and Springfield before moving to Washington, D.C., where she spent time at both local television stations, as well as CNN and FOX News Channel.

After six years in D.C., Beth and her family moved home to Massachusetts. Once back in the Bay State, she spent the next ten years at WGGB where she anchored every show during her time on Liberty Street – from the morning show to the 11 p.m. news.

Beth, who holds a bachelor’s degree from Western New England University, returns to WGGB after leaving in 2004 to start her own public relations and consulting business. For the last several years, she has also hosted ‘As Schools Match Wits’ on WGBY.

In her spare time, Beth loves to spend time in the garden and time with her family. She’s also a die-hard New England Patriots fan, with the Boston Red Sox being her close second favorite sports team.

Beth lives in East Longmeadow with her husband and their two children.
