On November 12 at 7:00 PM, Bay Path University’s Kaleidoscope Series presents The Dangers of Tobacco on the Body, hosted by Bay Path University Senior Megan Griffin. The harsh chemicals in cigarettes and vapes affect much more than just a person’s lungs. As new vaping products are often marketed as a “healthier alternative” to cigarettes, many people are unaware of their negative health effects. Hear from college student Sydney Goodman regarding her diagnosis of Acute Lung Disease due to the usage of e-cigarettes and vaping before the age of 20. Also learn from a panel of health experts about how nicotine affects the body and the healthiest methods for quitting. This event, held on Zoom, is FREE and open to the public.
