(Meredith) -- Instacart announced a new contest involving free snacks to encourage Americans to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

The sweepstakes, called "Get Vaxxed for Snacks," is open to customers who have received their first shot or are fully vaccinated.

The online grocery company says 200 winners will be selected on July 1 and receive a $500 Instacart gift card.

"With the Get Vaxxed For Snacks program, we hope to offer customers one more reason to get vaccinated so we can collectively bring this pandemic to an end,” said Instacart Founder & CEO Apoorva Mehta in a press release.

Instacart says the contest is open to legal residents of the U.S. and the District of Columbia excluding New York and Florida.
