(WCVB/CNN/Meredith) -- Police in Massachusetts are still searching for a woman who vanished before she was supposed to host a Super Bowl party.
Abbie Flynn prepared for her guests, but when they arrived, she was nowhere to be found.
Nearby residents say they can't help but feel on edge knowing Flynn seemingly vanished.
Authorities aren't exactly sure where the 59-year-old mother and wife were headed Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. just before the Super Bowl. She told her son over the phone she was going for a walk.
But two hours later when guests arrived at her home in Gloucester for a Super Bowl party, she was not there.
“There was indication that she had been at home, that she prepared for the party, but she was not there,” chief of Gloucester police Ed Conley said.
An all-out search ensued. Police said Flynn left her cell phone at home.
They said as of now, there's no indication of foul play. The department is using K9s in their search.
"Wouldn't be uncommon for someone to walk out onto the rocks and take a photograph and perhaps slip and fall. I'm not saying that's what happened here, but certainly that's something we'd consider,” Conley said.
Flynn lives alone and her children are away at school. Neighbors say her husband works out of state. Flynn's husband was in Texas at the time she disappeared and is returning to Massachusetts.
Flynn is a 59-year-old white female with brown hair, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. If you have any information, please call 978-283-1212.
