Police tipped off to a "drug sale" in the parking lot of CVS on Elm St. in West Springfield, ended up making an arrest after 60 bags of heroin were allegedly found.

The West Springfield Police Department and FBI responded to the CVS parking lot on Monday.

"Western Mass. Gang Task Force, received information that a drug sale was imminent..." the West Springfield Police Department explained.

After getting a description of the suspect and the suspect's vehicle, detectives responding to the area located the individual, allegedly Orlando Rodriguez Rosado from Springfield.

"Upon arrival, Mr. Rosado was located with 60 bags of heroin on his person and in the vehicle in which he was sitting," noted police.

After a "brief struggle" police say they were able to arrest Rosado.
