Crews are working to repair a water main break in West Springfield

West Springfield DPW said that a 16-inch water main broke along Union Street extension Thursday afternoon.

They noted that crews are in the process of closing down nearby valves to isolate the leak.

"People may be experiencing low water pressure in other areas of town," the DPW said in a tweet.
