One person was killed and another remains hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash in western Massachusetts.
Authorities say a sport-utility vehicle and a pickup truck collided head-on at about 12:30 a.m. Friday on Route 7 in Lee. Neither driver had passengers in their vehicle.
The victims’ names haven’t been released yet.
Police say the driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say that driver had addresses in Great Barrington and New York.
Authorities say the other driver is from Lenox and was taken to Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield for treatment of injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
