HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -- Four people have been displaced following a Friday morning fire in Holyoke.

Holyoke fire officials said that emergency crews were called to a two-family home on Allen Street around 8:15 a.m. today.

A sixth grader reportedly alerted his mother to the fire, which caused extensive damage to the house.

Everyone was able to get out of the home safely.
