BOSTON (WGGB/WSHM) -- State officials have released new information in regards to coronavirus cases in the Bay State.
The Mass. Department of Public Health said that as of Wednesday, April 21, there were 635,045 confirmed cases in the Bay State. That marks an increase of 1,370 cases since Tuesday.
There were also 77,068 new molecular tests reported since Tuesday, with a total of 20,599,779 molecular tests administered.
There are 686 patients currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
Of those total cases, 17,151 deaths are now being attributed to COVID-19. That's an increase of 13 newly reported confirmed deaths since Tuesday.
