BOSTON (WGGB/WSHM) -- State officials have released new information in regards to coronavirus cases in the Bay State.
The Mass. Department of Public Health said that as of Monday, September 28, there were 128,793 confirmed cases in the Bay State. That marks an increase of 367 cases since Sunday.
State officials noted that 2,205,674 people have been tested by molecular tests.
There were also 13,049 new people tested by molecular test reported since Saturday, with a total of 3,931,219 molecular tests administered.
Of those total cases, 9,202 deaths are now being attributed to COVID-19. That's an increase of 11 newly reported confirmed deaths since Sunday.
