Pedestrian struck and killed on Rt. 20 in Charlton

A pedestrian was struck and killed on Rt. 20 in Charlton Friday night.

The Charlton Police Department told Western Mass News they were called to the scene at about 8:30 p.m.

The pedestrian was struck at 28 Worcester Road/Rt. 20.

Police confirm the driver did remain on scene.

Further details weren’t immediately available.

“Until all notifications are made we're not going to put out anything at this time," the Charlton police dispatcher told us.

Both State Police and the Charlton Police Department are investigating. ?
