A heavy police presence was seen Sunday night on Sewall Street in Ludlow.

Ludlow Police would only say that they responded to a "domestic violence incident" around 7 p.m. Sunday and an arrest was made.

Neighbors were asking what was occurring at 241 Sewall Street and 301 Sewall Street. One neighbor told Western Mass News that the same family owns both properties.

Crime scene tape could be seen surrounding a vehicle in one driveway and on the porch at the other.

There's no word yet on what exactly happened here.

However, Wilbraham Police told Western Mass News that they were called to assist Ludlow Police with a serious incident, but were later called off upon arrival.

Mass. State Police are also assisting in the investigation, which is active and ongoing..

Western Mass News will continue to follow this story and will have the very latest as it becomes available.
