Police searching for car connected to attempted abduction in Egremont

Police are searching for a vehicle they said was connected to an attempted abduction of a woman in Egremont Wednesday night.

According to the Otis Police Department, the incident occurred on Creamery Road just before 6 p.m.

Police said the vehicle involved was a silver Jeep Cherokee with duck tape and newer-style New York orange license plates with four males inside who are possibly Hispanic.

Anyone who sees the vehicle or has any information should contact State Police at 413-243-0600.
