HADLEY, MA (WGGB/WSHM) -- Police say a school bus with students on board was involved in a crash this morning in Hadley.

Hadley Police Department Lt. Kuc tells us that all the students were seen by first responders following the crash and transferred to another bus to go to school.

The crash happened Monday morning at about 8:15 a.m. in front of the Texas Roadhouse westbound on Rt. 9.

Lt. Kuc says the blue bus was stopped at a red light when a small car struck it from behind.

We're told it was a quick response by officers, firefighters, and an ambulance crew who all responded to the scene 'immediately.'

"The school bus had minor damage to the tail pipe," explained Lt. Kuc.

Luckily, no injuries were reported.

Police say parents of all students on board the bus are being contacted by the school's principal via phone.

Five Star bus owns the 'blue bus' involved in the crash Monday, police report. Hadley Public Schools has a contract with the company.
