Emergency crews were called to Palmer Ave. in Springfield Saturday morning for a report of a fire.

Dennis Leger, Aid to the Springfield Fire Commissioner confirmed with Western Mass News that firefighters were called to 75 Palmer Ave.

This was at around 6 a.m. Saturday.

No immediate fire or smoke could be seen by our crew when we arrived on scene.

However, Leger reported that someone "heard a pop in the bathroom" and that it could have been "electrical" in nature.

The Springfield Police Department responded to the scene as well and confirmed for us that the fire was out.

No injuries were reported.
