DA: 58-year-old man killed during head-on crash on Rt.2 in Shelburne Falls

A liquor store in Springfield was robbed by two men armed with a gun late Friday night, police report.

Springfield Police Captain Richard LaBelle told Western Mass News this happened at about 11 p.m. at the Worthington Discount Liquors store on Worthington Street.

"Two men wearing all black and bandanas, brandished (a) gun," LaBelle explained to us.

An undisclosed amount of money was stolen from the store.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The two suspects were reportedly seen fleeing in a grey Kia.

Further details about the ongoing investigation weren't released by police.
