Springfield man facing slew of gun, drug charges following apartment raid

 

A Springfield man is facing a number of drug and firearm charges after police said they raided his apartment on Itendale Street Wednesday afternoon.

Springfield police said officers executed a search warrant at 26-year-old Kamari Howard's apartment around 1: 50 p.m.

That's where officers allegedly recovered an illegal firearm, five bags of crack cocaine, and over $800 in cash.

Howard now faces the following charges: Possession of a firearm in a felony Possession of a high capacity feeding device/magazine Possession with the intent to distribute a Class B drug - subsequent offense Receiving stolen property less than $1,200 Carrying a firearm on a public way Firearm violation with one prior violent/drug crimeCopyright 2018 Western Mass News (Meredith Corporation).
