A woman was shot overnight, the Springfield Police Department reports.

Police were called to Baystate Medical Center around 2:30 a.m. Saturday after the woman showed up at the hospital with a gun shot wound.

We're told she suffered non-life threatening injuries.

This happened just after a shot spotter activation went off around the same time on Marlborough Street.

No suspect has been named.

An investigation is underway by the Springfield Police Department.
