A truck fire has caused major traffic issues along a portion of the Mass. Turnpike.

Mass. State Police said that around noon Tuesday, a tractor-trailer caught fire near mile-marker 33.6 in Westfield.

At one point, all lanes westbound side of the Pike were closed.

Just before 3 p.m., one lane reopened to traffic as crews remain on-scene, cleaning up the scene.

It's not yet known if there are any injuries.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes if possible.
