AGAWAM, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Six Flags New England has a new ride and you don’t need to wonder what it’s all about.

Supergirl Sky Flyer is the latest addition to the thrill capital of New England, nestled right in the heart of the DC Universe.

“She is fierce, she is independent, she flies, and we have her here at Six Flags,” said Six Flags spokesperson Jennifer McGrath.

McGrath told Western Mass News it’s this ride’s design that makes it so unique.

“Our first where you sit by yourself. If you have an intense fear of rides, little nervous, you're completely independent. That's Supergirl herself…You start spinning, then tilted on a wheel on its axis, then completely inverted multiple times at max speeds. Beautiful feeling is it's floorless, legs dangling, feels like you're flying,” McGrath explained.

Time to see for ourselves. Taylor took it for a ride!

Our own Taylor Jacobs takes a spin on Six Flags New England's newest ride-- the Supergirl Sky Flyer!

“It was awesome. It honestly felt like you were flying, right?...Feet dangling, no one to hold on to. It was amazing,” said Molly Kajdan with Six Flags New England.
